<p>What is Cultural Economic Development?</p>
<p><i>“Cultural economic development means leveraging our creative talent, heritage and cultural assets to stimulate, support and enhance economic growth and build community prosperity.” (Michigan, 8)*</i><sup><i>1</i></sup></p>
<p>Ta3leeleh is a grassroot community-based forum that brings people together from around the Kingdom, region and globe to stand at the microphone and share their ideas and interests in front of a supportive audience in a safe and comfortable environment. Ideas and interests can includes: research papers, philosophies, personal experiences, inventions, topics of interests, speeches, debates, the arts, etc.</p>
<p><strong>Objectives: </strong><i>(by bringing people together we aim to…)</i></p>

<li>Engender a value for IDEAS, INTERESTS and ACTION</li>
<li>Encourage people to share and develop their ideas and interests</li>
<li>Empower the general public to perceive themselves as thinkers</li>
<li>Summon Jordanians to expose their hidden skills, ideas and talents</li>
<li>Expose the public to other’s ideas, interests and experiences and create appreciation</li>
<li>Promote the status and value of Jordan’s intellects</li>
<li>Break cultural stereotypes and discrimination</li>
<li>Create interests groups and communities</li>
<li>Highlight similarities between communities by discovering their underlying passions</li>
<li>Build self-empowerment</li>
<li>Become a cultural and idea incubator</li>
<li>Strengthen and align Jordan’s national identity</li>

<p><strong>Problem Ta3leeleh Is Addressing:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Underestimation on the power of ideas and culture</li>
<li>Hidden, untapped and discourage readers, thinkers and doers</li>
<li>Widening socio-economic gap that is creating rifts and fragmentations in our national identity (i.e. “East and West Amman, etc.)</li>
<li>Dangerous and malicious stereotypes among ourselves as well as to the outside world and vice versa </li>

<p><strong>عن تعليلة</strong></p>
<p>تعليلة منتدى ثقافي اجتماعي يهدف الى جمع الناس من مختلف الخلفيات الثقافية والأجتماعية والإقتصادية، ليتشاركوا الأفكار والإهتمامات والمعارف وحتى الأفكار المقتبسة بهدف اخراج الافكار من الحيز الشخصي الى باقي افراد المجتمع. عند مشاركة الأفكار والإهتمامات فأننا نساهم بتنمية المجتمع وتطويره. فنحن نأمن بأن كل شخص لديه شيء يستحق ان يشارك به وهذه الأفكار يمكن ان تكون اي شيء سواء خبرات او ملاحظات او اهتمامات وحتى مبادرات. </p>
<p><strong>المشاركين</strong></p>
<p>في تعليلة يتفاعل الجمهور مع المشاركين فيتعلمون من خبرات بعضهم ويبنون افكاراً جديدة تتطور مع المشاركة وننفتح بها على الأخرين ونعمل على كسر الحواجز بين فئات المجتمع من خلال دمج ذوي الإحتياجات الخاصة والصم والبكم والأيتام. بالإضافة الى المناطق التي تعتبر من جيوب الفقر في المملكة مثل غور المزرعة. ففي كل شهر تعقد تعليلة في غور المزرعة وتعليلة اخرى في عمان حيث يتشارك من 8 – 10 مشاركين وكل مشارك مسوح له بفكرة واحدة لمدة لا تتجاوز الثمانية دقائق. وعلى المشارك ان يحترم الطوائف والديانات والثقافات الاخرى وعدم السخرية منها. </p>
<p>الجمهور:</p>
<p>في تعليلة لا يقتصر دور الجمهور على التلقي فبإمكانهم ان يشاركو في اي تعليلة قادمة، كما ان وجودهم يفتح له أفاقاُ لمعرفة وتقدير ما يملكون من افكار ومواهب فالجمهور عادة من الأصدقاء المتعاطفين الداعمين الذين لا يوجهون النقد بل يحترموا اي مادة او فكرة يعرضها المشارك. بالإضافة الى انه يتم تقديم ورقة ليكتبوا فيها ارائهم بالمشاركين والمادة او الفكرة التي قدمت والهدف ليس النقد الحاد او الإكتفاء بنعليق بسيط بل يجب ان يكون الرأي موضوعي يهدف الى التحسين من اداء او فكرة المشارك. كما ان تعليلة تعمل على فتح افق امام الجمهور بإحترام افكار ومعتقدات الأخرين وحتى في كثير من المرات تتغير نظرتهم اتجاه هذه الأفكار. </p>
